A SIMPLY STUNNING DINING ROOM
The jewel in the crown of Sudbrook House is the magnificent baroque Cube Room, which rises the height of the two main storeys.
The beautiful trophies of arms carved above the doorways are believed to allude to the Duke of Argyll’s military achievements, and the Campbell family arms are carved in pine in the great panel above the mirror.
The carved marble chimneypiece is most likely the work of the Flemish sculptor, John Michael Rysbrack.
The Cube Room is the Club’s principal dining and function room. It is also an impressive setting in which both members and non-members can hire for entertainment and hosting events.
